And, no I don't mean Alex and me, although he'd like to think he's eating for two too (couvade?). The baby's kicks are getting stronger, and I can feel its shoulders, head, and rump as it tumbles about in the womb. I've been thinking some pretty profound thoughts about how the baby is all alone in there, and only knows its own experience - kind of like humankind here on Earth, not quite knowing what lies beyond our universe. What a shock it must be to be born!

Getting bigger, together
And, no I don't mean Alex and me, although he'd like to think he's eating for two too (couvade?). The baby's kicks are getting stronger, and I can feel its shoulders, head, and rump as it tumbles about in the womb. I've been thinking some pretty profound thoughts about how the baby is all alone in there, and only knows its own experience - kind of like humankind here on Earth, not quite knowing what lies beyond our universe. What a shock it must be to be born!
